IMPORTANT: As soon as you complete Step 1, save your work as a ufo.

Steps 01

Open a new image 400w x 400h.  Activate the Path Drawing Tool Path Drawing Tool, and create the following path shapes.

2D Oval 274w x 218h using the color #242424.

2D Oval 234w x 61h using the color #202020.

3D Oval 214w x 46h and apply Gold 1 under "Metallics" from the Material Attribute list in the Easy Palette.  Change the bevel setting to 13.

Using custom shape B28 for the leg, size 41w x 113h using the color #3A3A3A.  Right click, duplicate twice and position as shown.

Select the larger oval and activate the edit path tool.

Add two nodes on each side as shown in the first image to your left.

Click, hold and drag the bottom node you added inward then adjust the node handles.

Steps 02

Right click on the large oval, convert object type from text/path to image.

Activate the burn tool.  On the attribute tool bar change the size to 50, soften paint edges to 70 and level to 100.

Burn the left side with one stroke and two strokes on the right sides as shown.  Do a small burn stroke under the rim of the pot.

Steps 03

Activate the dodge tool.  On the attribute tool bar change the size to 40, soften paint edges to 50 and level to 100.

Dodge a series of strokes to the top left area of the large oval.  A few light strokes to the right side as shown.

Steps 04

Activate the smudge tool.  On the attribute tool bar change the size to 100, soften paint edges to 50 and level to 30.  Lightly use to blend the burned and dodged areas.

Convert the legs and burn and dodge them as well.  When done hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and select all three legs.  Right click, arrange and send to back.

Use the Line & Arrow Tool set to spline, 3D applying a gold preset from the easy palette and 2 width to create your handle.

Change the mode to 2D and the color to #464646 to make a highlight line 1 width for each front leg.

Save your ufo one final time!  You may wish to merge and save in your easy palette.
