Open a new image 425w x 425h.  Activate the Path Drawing Tool Path Drawing Tool and create a 2D heart (Custom Shape S08) 182w x 158h using the color #D60000.

Use the transform tool to rotate clockwise 35°.

Now to just distort the upper portion of the heart, click the edit path tool.  Click on the center node at the inner point of the heart (marked as center black arrow in image) and shift it slightly up and over.

Holding the "shift" key on your keyboard, click on the top right two nodes, (see black arrows in first image) let go of the shift key and then slide the nodes with your mouse to the right.

Holding the "shift" key on your keyboard, click on the two nodes on the left top side (see black arrows in first image), let go of the shift key and then slide the nodes with your mouse to the right.

Now click on the node for the inner point and draw it slightly inward.   Adjust the node handles on the top sides to create a smooth curve.  See images to your left.

Right click and duplicate.  Click on the path drawing tool and change the mode to 3D pipe.

On the attribute tool bar, click the camera icon to adjust materials.  In the Materials window, click the bevel setting and change the maximum width to 2.  Don't worry about the color just yet as we will change it later.

Right click on your 2D heart again and duplicate it.

Click the path drawing tool and change the color to #8A0000.

Activate the transform tool and change the width to 137, place as shown.

Right click on your 2D heart one last time and duplicate it.

Click the path drawing tool and change the color to #8A0000.

Activate the transform tool again, this time change the width to 248.  Right click, arrange and send to back.

Position as shown.  We will adjust this shape later.

Use custom shape B12 to create a shape 188w x 41h using the color #FF8888.

Place the top left corner equal with the point of your top heart.

Activate the edit path tool, hold down the "shift" key on your keyboard, select the two nodes on the right side of your shape, release the shift key and with your mouse drag the nodes to the top right corner as shown in the first image.

Click the bottom left node and move to straight the left side line.

Do the same to the opposite side.

Click on the top line (it turns red) then on the attribute tool bar, click the curve icon.

Do the same to the bottom line.

Pull the handles of the top nodes aligning with the edge of your heart as shown in the third image.

Pull the handles of the bottom nodes to align your line as shown in the last image to your left.

In the layer manager, slide this shape below the trim of your heart.

If you have not done so yet, please save your ufo and continue to do so often!

Use custom shape B12 to create a shape 100w x 43h using the color #FF5B5B.

Using the edit path tool to shape as shown.

When done, select the bottom heart and align the point node as shown.

Pull the side handles to round evenly.

Right click, select all, then drag toward the bottom left area of your canvas.  Save your ufo!

Create a 2D rectangle 73w x 41h using the color #FF5B5B.

Use the transform tool to rotate right clockwise 25°.  Right click, arrange and send to back.

Position as shown.

Create a 2D heart 182w x 179h using the color #8A0000.

Use the transform tool to "flip vertically" then rotate right clockwise 22°.

Right click, duplicate and use the transform tool to change the width to 281.

Right click, arrange and send to back.  Position as shown.

Select the large heart, use the edit tool to delete the inner point node.

Click on the line and convert line segment to line.  Save your ufo!
