Lines Sample

Let's get started! Create a new image 432 w x 288 h.  Activate the Line & Arrow Tool Line & Arrow Tool and make a line 1 wide by 189 high.  Right click, select align > center both.

Now still using the line and arrow tool, create a line 1 wide by 196 high.  Right click and duplicate.  I used the arrow down key on my keyboard and place 30 lines down.  Repeat step.

Right click, select all objects then right click again and group.  In the layer manager you may want to label your group as "lines".

Custom Shape Fr04   Stamp

Now using the path tool Path Draw Tool, create a 68 w x 77 h 2D custom shape of Fr04 and place in the top right corner of your postcard.  I used black as the color, you can pick any color you would like!

Next Activate the path draw tool again, this time create a 2D rectangle 53 w by 62 h and place inside your Fr04 shape.  See sample to the left.

Holding down the Ctrl key, select the Fr04 shape and your rectangle; right click and group.  In the layer manager, label this group "stamp".

Step 04

Activate the Text Tool Fill Sample, using a font of your choice, type the words "Post Card" and place in the top center of your post card.  Besure anti-aliasing is checked!  Open your layer manager Layer Manager, and name this layer "words".

Holding down the Ctrl key, select all your layers in the layer manager, right click and select group.  Now drag and drop it into your easy palette and woolah you have a template to reuse!

If you wish when using your postcard template you can click on the white portion and flood fill it with a color of your choice!

Below is a sample of what you can create!  Enjoy!
